Vedic Mathematics

Vedic Mathematics, uncovered by the Indian monk Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji (1884-1960), is often regarded as the Father of Vedic Math. His insights were documented in the 1957 publication titled Vedic Mathematics, which explores the intricacies of the 16 Sutras.

Originating in ancient India, Vedic Math provides a mental math framework with strategies that simplify the solving of mathematical problems, leading to faster and more accurate solutions. Between 1911 and 1918, Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji embarked on an ambitious quest to extract and reconstruct mathematical knowledge from the Vedas, the ancient sacred scriptures rich in wisdom, science, traditions, and culture. This dedicated research culminated in the unveiling of Vedic Mathematics in 1965, a work that showcases his profound commitment and scholarly diligence in this exploration.
